I saw something today that makes me think that this is happening to other facbook users around the world.
Facebook is now suggesting i talk to people that i haven't spoken to in a long time, they are telling me. Hey, send a comment to this person and help make their facebook experience better. What? Basically what this says to me is," this person is not logging on or using facebook that often anymore, can you send them a message to make them feel that facebook is still exiting and useful"
I left my account active, just so people i know can reach me, but i have removed all of my personal information, interests etc. (no need for facebook to know my interests, religion, political affiliation, job etc) the only use for that is so that they can decide which ads to show me when i log on.
At this point, the people at Facebook are getting more out of the service than i am(advertising to me and you),

No, and I have been trying to tell people the same thing forever. What really peeves me is that every time they change the privacy policy, our privacy on facebook goes down and they tell us it's "improved". Its wrong. Everytime we give another permission to facebook, we sign away more of our rights. I hate facebook, and I'll be cutting myself off soon.
